Carl A. Huslig, President

Mr. Huslig, a native Kansan, holds responsibility for establishing and implementing the vision to rebuild the electricity transmission infrastructure in Kansas and the Great Plains region in order to improve reliability, reduce congestion and lower the overall cost of delivered energy. Mr. Huslig has over 15 years experience in the utility industry. His career began at Aquila, Inc. in 1991 when he held positions of increasing responsibility primarily within the transmission function. Most recently, Mr. Huslig served as Vice President of Aquila's Transmission Operations where he was responsible for day-to-day activities such as planning, system operations, capital and maintenance budgets, as well as working with regulatory and legislative affairs on transmission-related matters.

Mr. Huslig holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University.

Alan K. Myers, Vice President, Technical Services

Mr. Myers is responsible for working with regional transmission organizations and other local utilities to implement the infrastructure improvements necessary to improve the transmission grid. Mr. Myers was formerly employed by Aquila, Inc. with responsibility for system planning, managing and negotiating transmission contracts, and administering Aquila's transmission tariff. He previously held positions of increasing responsibility, including primary planning responsibility for Aquila's Kansas transmission assets. Mr. Myers, a native Kansan, holds a bachelors and masters of science degrees in electrical engineering from Kansas State University. Mr. Myers is a registered professional engineer in Kansas.
