Thank you, southeastern Oklahoma landowners, for welcoming ITC Great Plains to your communities.

On December 7 and 8, landowners, family members and friends joined ITC Great Plains at our Community Open House events in Fort Towson and Valliant to learn about the Hugo to Valliant high-voltage electric transmission line. They met with ITC Great Plains leaders and project team members to examine detailed maps of the three proposed line routes and share their views about the project and the proposed routes.

ITC Great Plains will review the input from the meetings and develop a final route for the line early in 2010. ITC will then begin discussions with landowners to purchase right-of-way easements. Construction is projected to begin during the second quarter of 2011, with the line and substation scheduled to enter service by the end of March 2012

Thank you for you interest in this important project for southeastern Oklahoma.
