• January 2009 -- Project approved in Southwest Power Pool Transmission Expansion Plan and Notice to Construct issued
• April 2009 -- Project assigned to ITC Great Plains
• October-November 2009 -- Community leader briefings
• December 7-8, 2009 -- Community Open Houses in Fort Towson and Valliant
• January-July 2010 -- Landowner meetings and right-of-way acquisition
• April-July 2010 -- Substation engineering design
• July-October 2010 -- Tower line engineering design
• First Quarter 2011 thru Second Quarter 2012 -- Substation and transmission line construction
• April 1, 2012 -- Substation and transmission line in service
