ITC Great Plains is an independent, transmission-only utility, here to build a more robust transmission grid throughout the Midwest that is accessible to all market participants.
Building these lines will reduce congestion. It will allow energy from renewable resources like wind to be transmitted more efficiently. And ultimately it will reduce the cost of energy for the residents of Kansas, Oklahoma and the entire Southwest Power Pool footprint.
