ITC Great Plains owns and operates two electric transmission substations in Kansas. These are the first components of what will ultimately result in the ownership and operation of a state-of-the-art transmission system across the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) Region. Currently three projects are in the planning stages: two in Kansas and one in Oklahoma.
